St Albans Art Market
Held on the second Sunday of each month, the St Albans Art Market brings together a vibrant community of artists from St Albans and beyond. Located opposite the Clock Tower on Market Place, this area has hosted markets since the 9th century, offering a unique setting filled with local character.
Visitors can browse and shop a wide selection of original, affordable artworks — with something to suit every taste and budget. We also provide free art workshops during the market, designed for all ages to enjoy and get creative.
Interested in taking part?
We welcome artist and makers who would like to join for a single event or on an ongoing basis.
The market is held monthly, with stalls ready from 7:30am and open to the public from 9am to 3pm. Artists are welcome to bring their own equipment or use the facilities we provide — including stall setup and takedown, support and advice, and promotion via social media.
