Calling all artists.
Submissions are now being accepted for the inaugural St Albans Visual arts festival taking place in April and May
As part of this event, St Albans Visual arts festival is working with Herts Young Homeless to raise awareness of the issues that many young people who are at risk of homelessness face. This important charity work to support those families and young people who may be at risk of being homeless.
Artists are invited to submit up to 5 pieces of work to events@hyh.org.uk. Chosen work will be displayed at Trestle Arts Base with 50% of the proceeds going to the charity.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in our art contest. The grand prize is a 7 day solo exhibition. The runner up award will go to 6 artists who will be shortlisted for a group exhibition in 2022

St Albans has a profusion of excellent hotels, restaurants, pubs, cares, snack and juice bars as well as regular market food stalls and vans and more recently the Pub in the Park event.
Lets celebrate this diversity by photographing your favourite eatery/winery. Submit up to 3 high res images, colour or black and white, inside or out.
Alternatively artists, submit your food or drink related artwork which can be linked to St Albans eateries or inspired by your creativity. The choice is yours!
Selected work will be printed on weather resistant foamex and displayed in and around St Albans City Centre from September, as part of the Food and Drink Festival.
